P Ramdas

A journalist with over 15 years of experience in legal reporting, specializing in coverage of the Kerala Judiciary. A postgraduate in Journalism and Communication from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, he began his career in 2006 with Kerala Kaumudi, initially focusing on sports reporting before establishing himself in investigative and legal journalism. In 2013, he received the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club’s V. Krishnamoorthy Award for Best English News Report for "A Couple’s Dream Remains Frozen", which detailed a couple’s legal battle over their deceased son’s preserved semen at a private hospital in Kochi. The report was later adapted into the film Venalodugathe, directed by Sanjeev Sivan and starring National Award-winning actors Seema Biswas and Salim Kumar. He has completed several professional training programs, including the Defence Correspondents Course (DCC) by the Union Ministry of Defence and Reuters’ online course Introduction to Digital Journalism. Passionate about content writing, legal trends, and societal impact, he also enjoys movies, vlogging, football, and modeling.
